How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

A feature/tribute dedicated to our Deviant Art stock providors.

We see the sky everyday. We tend to take it for granted and only occasionally exclaim at the wondrous magnificence exhibited to us for free. Our stock providers help us so much by uploading skies from other places ...same planet, different seasons, locations and weather. They capture their sky when it is particularly dramatic or simply beautiful, and upload their captures for we photomanipulators to utilise and admire.

Over the time I have been a member here, I have been collecting resources for my photomanipulation work and just yesterday I revisited my local folder of 'skies'. Although I have fewer than 80 sky images there, I have a resource that I could never collect for myself. I would have to be in hundreds of places at many different times with my camera always at the ready to even begin to amass the amazing collection I have been able to put together for my photomanipulation works.

Skies are particularly useful for adding drama or setting the 'tone' of a manipulation, alone or in combination with each other, and I have often looked at other DA artists work and my first thought would be ...what a great sky!!

Here is a 'not quite' random selection from that local 'Skies' folder (courtesy of many others), and all praise to the stock providers and artists who have made them available for our use. A big thank you from me to you all
